Sam Rickett

Founder · Technology & AI

Sam founded Everlution. A software developer with strong business instincts, he is at his best where technology meets the way a company actually works: understanding the business, taking apart its internal processes and rebuilding them leaner. Over a career of more than 20 years he has overseen the launch of dozens of high-profile web platforms — scalable, robust and cheap to run — and internal ventures that grew into companies of their own. Today his focus is applied AI: putting language models and automation into real workflows, from AI-assisted development inside our own team to AI features and process optimisation in clients’ products, always with a clear view of the risk and the return. Sam holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of York and is a passionate supporter of other entrepreneurs in London’s tech start-up scene.

Miroslav Demovič

CEO · Cybersecurity auditor

Miro connects technology, security and business. As CEO of Everlution he leads a team of more than fifty people and looks at security not only technically but through management, cost and everyday practice. He started as a developer, moved on to designing infrastructure and running mission-critical applications, then into cybersecurity — from penetration testing to digital forensics. A lead auditor for ISO/IEC 27001, he audits under the Cybersecurity Act (69/2018), DORA and ISO 22301, helps companies implement DORA and MiCA, is an internal auditor for PCI-DSS and acts as external CISO for fintech firms. Michael Doyle

Michael leads business development and the Everlution Ventures incubation programme: he is the first person a founder meets and the one who turns a promising idea into a fundable company. He combines entrepreneurial and investment-banking experience gathered over more than 20 years at Quayle Munro, The van Tulleken Company and Credit Suisse, and has advised on strategy, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions for numerous technology start-ups as well as established technology and media companies. At Everlution he works alongside the engineering team so that commercial plans and technical reality stay in step — shaping business models, preparing companies for investment rounds, opening doors to our angel network and co-investors, and supporting management teams through the growth stage and exit. He also brings this deal-side perspective to our technical due-diligence work for acquirers and investors. Michael holds a BA in Biochemistry from Dartmouth College and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford.

Certified Ethical Hackers and ISO 27001 lead auditors with hands-on PCI-DSS, DORA and business-continuity (ISO 22301) experience, certified in enterprise risk management (CRISC). Outsourced DPOs and cybersecurity managers who take on the roles GDPR and the Slovak Cybersecurity Act (69/2018) require: records of processing, DPIAs, security measures, incident reporting, contact with the data-protection and national security authorities, staff training.
